Here Magazine’s inaugural Better Together event was the brainchild of our Board of Directors. A simple idea with a sole purpose: to celebrate each other, our diversity, and the gifts of a healthy pluralistic society. Better Together brought together around 150 people of all ages and many, many different cultural backgrounds to get to know one another better and experience new cultures through dance, music, poetry, storytelling, and of course, food!
