Eid is a time to absorb the ending of the month of Ramadan. A time of reflection, gratitude, and giving.
This year, Eid was different and challenging in many ways due to the pandemic. But that is also another reason to step up and help the ones in need. While I was distributing sandwiches, fruits, and granola bars amongst the unhoused community, I realized there was so much more we could do to help them during this period of isolation and uncertainty. So, together with many community leaders, we were able to gather the resources to celebrate the spirit of Eid.
