On April 29, 2021, Vancouver BC-based immigration lawyer Maria Campos joined the Here community for a special information session on Canada’s new and temporary 2021 pathways to permanent residence. Watch the recorded Zoom session for Ms. Campos’ expert advice on how to navigate the application process, followed by her answers to questions from attendees.
In early 2021, the Government of Canada introduced new, and temporary, pathways to permanent residence for over 90,000 essential workers and international graduates currently living and working in Canada. Immigration lawyer Maria Campos gives expert advice on preparing for and navigating the application process, which is set to open on May 6, 2021. Applications will be accepted until November 5, 2021 or until the quota is reached. It is likely the quota will be reached long before November 5, 2021. This is an unprecedented opportunity for those eligible.
Note: this session took place prior to the release of the full guidelines announced on May 6, 2021.
